Many times, when we are cooking for a large group in our family, we snack on this famous recipe. It’s also great on taco salad, or tacos. Never have I tasted a more delicious guacamole! Thanks to my sister, Patti, for letting me share her recipe!
Patti’s Fresh Guacamole Recipe
4-5 large avocado
1/3 onion, diced very small
2 large or 3 small cloves garlic, diced very small
Juice of 1 large lime
1 cup cherry tomato, diced1 small bunch of cilantro, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
Wash avacado. Slice each one in half lengthwise, and then twist to open. Remove seed, then scoop out the pulp into a bowl. Mash all avacado with a potato masher or fork. Add onion, garlic, lime juice, tomato, cilantro, and salt and pepper to taste. (DoTerra lime oil or DoTerra cilantro oil may be substituted. Use 1 drop of each or to taste.) Serve with organic corn tortilla chips, bean chips, other gluten free crackers, sliced jicama, or veggies.
